The latest focus of Japanese otaku types is a 14-year-old English girl who calls herself Beckii Cruel. The Isle of Man native has developed a growing fan base from the videos that she started posting on YouTube in March. Most of them feature her dancing in her bedroom to J-Pop and anime tunes. Media hype here has compared her to another recent import, Leah Dizon (though their looks and otaku appeal are about the only similarity), and her videos on the local NicoNico Douga site have been viewed over 3 million times. She recently performed at the Enta Matsuri in Tokyo's otaku mecca of Akihabara (photo), with some 600 fans turning up to show their support. Who wud have imagined that this gorgeous and popular young lady actually started her career as an "extra" in an American Movie that was filmed in Tokyo in the past few years. I've watched this movie a million times, but yet i never knew she was in the film. I was completely in shock when i heard she was actually in here.

Are Ito Misaki (31) and Hayami Mocomichi (23) dating?? This weeks Josei Seven certainly thinks so! Apparently, the two have been sighted in Misakis hometown, Iwaki City, frequenting restaurants and drinking spots.
There was once when the pair was with another girl, but the way they were behaving around each other seemed to hint at a deeper relation between the two. Another source indicated that the two would be sighted at least once a month for the recent few months. A third source corroborated the first piece of information saying that the second girl who was with Hayami and Misaki was in fact, Misakis younger sister, with whom she is on very good terms.
Whatever's goin on between them, its none of our business tho its FUN ! but whatevs, it might be true, or might be just a rumour, && besides there are no pictures or evidence given to prove their dating. WHO KNOWS ?! :S

Half-french-canadian, half-japanese model-celebrity Marie (マリエ) (21 years) has done it again. It has been previously reported that the "frivolous" model once brought her dog into a pet-prohibited area, ignoring sideglances from passers-by and openly flouting laws governing public spaces.
This time, Marie's bad behaviour was witnessed at the Hyogo-ken Ashiya-shi's [ASHIYA BEACH MUSIC FESTIVAL 08] held on 19th July. After the main act by DJOZMA, a whole troop of models were supposed to go up on stage to dance and part around. For some inexplicable reason, Marie had an unlit cigarette in her mouth which she subsequently threw towards the audience. Entame asks, outraged, "Is that a present??"
Marie followed up soon after by coming off stage and going up to the audience, third-finger flashing and all, and said, "F*ck you!" Strange.
(As one may know) DJ OZMA's style is to perform on stage whilst letting the audience party offstage. Yet halfway between the switching of musictracks Marie went up to DJ OZMA with a bottle of Champagne and tried to make him drink it. In the spirit of the performance DJ OZMA was unable to reject her advances, so he had to acquiesce in order not to spoil the party mood. After that however, DJ OZMA remarked, " Sports drinks are good, aren't they?" which threw your Entame blogger into confusion.

Rather non-descript news, if you consider the recent Ohno scandal. Anyway, KAT-TUN's Akanishi Jin (24) and Yamapi (23) were photographed hanging out late into the night on 31st July 2008. The 21st - 28th August issue of Josei Seven (the cover of which is featured above) promises readers two-shot photos of the two Johnny talents.
Story has it that Yamapi recorded on his official Keitai (mobile) diary that he was going to the beach with Akanishi on 1st August, the two were spotted hanging out at Roppongi the night before. After Akanishi had finished a live performance with the rest of KAT-TUN, he and Yamapi met up and walked down the streets, attracting much attention. When female fans discovered their presence, Akanishi reportedly waved gallantly at them, displaying his kakkoii (cool)-ness.
In the end, the two entered a ramen shop where Akanishi seems to frequent (as he greeted the staff there with much familiarity). Another story has it that after meeting at the ramen shop, the two went to a hair salon. Well well.

The ceremony was held at the Meiji Shrine. About 1000 well-wishers flooded the area, some shouting out "Erika-sama, congratulations on getting married!" and others, "Look this way Erika!!" Erika was reported to have been looking very shy and would say "Domo!" (thanks!) to her screaming fans. Families of both persons were present, including Erika's elder brothers. After the ring-exchange ceremony, Erika waved to fans with the new ring on her finger.
